I am incredibly honored for the privilege to serve as your principal. I am beginning my 19th year in education! I have been a science teacher at Silsbee High School, middle school science teacher St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School and at St. Rose of Lima in Houston, and a self-contained fourth-grade teacher at St. Anthony. This is my second year here at St. Catherine as principal.
I am committed to lifelong learning! I received my bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tulsa and my master’s degree from Lamar University. I am currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Lamar.
Together, we will continue the mission of St. Catherine of Siena to provide an exceptional Catholic education, nurture the whole child, and foster the love of Christ.
As united home-school partners, we will work together to continue motivating students to reach their full potential by offering excellent educational opportunities. St. Catherine will continue to be a place where learners can dream big and become explorers, creators, collaborators, communicators, critical thinkers and problem solvers looking through a global lens with Christ at the center.
I look forward to continuing our mission here with you! We have some exciting things happening on campus from the remodel to new classroom tools! As we collaboratively work together during the coming months, I know we will develop a strong foundation for the upcoming school year.
